Diane F. Bosse
Diane F. Bosse is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo (B.A., 1973, magna cum laude; J.D., 1976, cum laude). In 1998, she was appointed by the Court of Appeals to the New York State Board of Law Examiners, after serving as a Legal Assistant to the Board for nineteen years. She has chaired the Board of Law Examiners since 2001. Diane is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Conference of Bar Examiners, having served on that Board from 1999-2008. Diane served on the Standards Review Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar from 2004-2007, and is currently a member of the ABA Law School Accreditation Committee. She is a past president of the Defense Trial Lawyers of Western New York (1998), and a past member of the boards of directors of the Bar Association of Erie County (1995-98) and of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association (1996-98). In 2001, Diane received the Award of Merit from the Bar Association of Erie County. She received the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Public Service from the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association in 2005. She was honored in 2006 as the Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Defense Trial Lawyers of Western New York.
